In the 2011 collective bargaining agreement, the franchise tags will be computed by a formula that takes into account the five highest salaries at each position in addition to franchise numbers for the last five years in relation to the overall salary-cap figure for the previous five years. The numbers below show the 2011 tag numbers vs. the 2012 numbers, by position.
