The chances of Phil wrapping up this weekend's tournament with a win was slim to none, but to seem him come down the back stretch with a charge put a smile on my face. Prior to the US Open many said he couldn't compete and hold his emotions to ride to the top, but he proved them wrong!

I have to be honest, I watched very little of the action this weekend but did check online to stay on top of what was going on. To even be able to step onto the course this weekend knowing when it was over he was going to deal with the hardest journey of his life, I give him props.

I mentioned on the "Parris and Burwell Show" that I liked his atire for the day and I stand by that as well. Confidence and the ability to wear that type of combination is attractive. Dont get me wrong I am not saying he was the best looking player in the tournament, I was just saying he could pull it off.

To Phil and his wife Amy, lots of fans are pulling for you and your family and I am sure Amy was thrilled to see Phil play as well as he did and I bet he made her proud by simply doing what he loves to do. I will be a Mickelson fan for life!
