Just as one Cardinal center fielder comes back, another is sidelined by injury. Colby Rasmus returns to the starting line up tonight after receiving a cortisone shot in his bruised left heel. Tony La Russa hopes the rookie can find his swing again.  Rasmus is mired in a 2-for-27 slump.

Just as Rasmus returns after missing 4-games, fellow center fielder Rick Ankiel goes down with a groin strain.  Ankiel suffering the strain during an at-bat Monday night.  Ankiel had been swinging a hot bat, going 13 for his last 29.  He will not be available until Thursday at the earliest.
