As if, because we've deemed the Birds as the best, the rest of the league will just bow down, go through the motions and hand St. Louis the victories.
Let me offer some advice...play the game the right way or your opponents will teach you the meaning of the word respect.
Let's take a look at the series at hand. The Houston Astros are in town and many fans think the Cardinals will brush them away like so many flies. I'm here to tell you that the Astros will finish second in the division and are going to play their the butts off the rest of the way. This series we'll see their best...Wodweguez, Oswalt and Moehler. And the only reason I add Moehler, who is generally pretty crappy, because he shoved it up our bums twice, though only winning once.
Anyway, The Astros offense is better as well with Berkman back...along with Carlos Lee and Miguel Tejada...and ready to do damage on anyone who gives them something to hit...throw in your odd Pence and Bourn and you could have a tough day at the office.
The Cardinals have the best team but they're going to have to play like it if they're going to do any damage in October.
