The sky is not falling! The horses are not out of the barn! The foxes are not in the chicken coop! There is no rain falling on the parade! It's all sunshine and lillipops! But, I must admit some concern about Ryan Franklin closing out games in post-season.
Last night in Houston Franklin struck out the side but allowed a run. And I know it was not a save situation and I don't worry too much about it. But, I certainly would prefer several three up three down innings before the playoffs begin. Is that too much to ask?
Now on to really important topics...tv show debuts last night.
First the good. ABC's Modern Family has a chance. Ed O'Neil and Julie Bowen star and it was topical, politically incorrect enough and funny.
On the other hand I watched Courtney Cox's new show Cougar Town. Cox looks great does a terriffic job in her role as the reluctant cougar and it was laugh out loud. But this show has given me an understanding of why there are ratings boards and labels and censors...all thing that I hate to the core...but I get them. This show is NC-17. Your kids cannot watch this show. No, that's wrong. Your kids can do whatever they want. My kids cannot watch this show. But I will sneak away and enjoy it.
