La Russa Makes History Tonight

  Cardinals Manager Tony La Russa will be "tied for 2nd."  When he manages tonight's game against the Reds, he'll tie John McGraw for 2nd all-time in games managed with 4,796.  By tomorrow afternoon La Russa will be all alone in 2nd place.

  La Russa still trails McGraw on the managerial WINS list, as well as fellow Hall of Famer Connie Mack:
