The Hockey Hall of Fame will induct its newest class on Monday including Blues' President John Davidson and former Blue scoring phenom Brett Hull. The two will be joined by Steve Yzerman, Luc Robitiaille, Brian Leetch and Lou Lamoriello.
Hull's 741 goals rank third-best in the NHL's all-time scoring list. Following his departure from St. Louis, Hull would win a pair of Stanley Cups with Dallas (1999) and Detroit (2002). With the Blues, "The Golden Brett" had his three best goal-scoring seasons totalling 86 in the 1990-1991 season, 72 during the 1989-1990 campaign and 70 in the 1991-1992 year.
Davidson is receiving the Foster Hewitt Memorial Award for outstanding contributions as a hockey broadcaster. Pittsburgh scribe Dave Molinari is also being similarly honored in the Hall's media category as the Elmer Ferguson Memorial Award recipient for work in hockey journalism. Lamoriello is New Jersey's longtime general manager, overseeing Stanley Cup Championships for the Devils' organization in 1995, 2000 and 2003.
Davidson will also be recognized in a special ceremony at Scottrade Center on Saturday, November 14th before the Blues host San Jose.
