9:02a-- Which first year NFL coach under .500 won't be back next season? Burwell believes Browns' coach Eric Mangini will be fired at the end of the season without a doubt, along with Tom Cable from Oakland and Todd Haley from Kansas City. Zach McCrite argues that Mangini should get a pass because there is no active general manager in place right now. McCrite wonders why Burwell is giving some coaches a free pass and why he is calling for the firing of others. Burwell says that Coach Spags deserves at least two years before he is on the hot seat. McCrite thinks that Cleveland and Mangini would be in a much better position if they had a working front office.

9:25a-- Yahoo! Sports NFL writer Charles Robinson joined the show to talk some football. Robinson thinks the GM in Cleveland was fired because Eric Mangini threw him under the bus. Robinson doesn't think Mangini should have ever been hired as a head coach, and the only reason he found success with the Jets is because of the team Herm Edwards put together before he got there. Robinson says Mangini has never, even in New England, been able to manage problem players and isn't head coach material. Robinson says Coach Spags gets a pass for this season because of all of the progress the Rams have made since week one and a lot of that is due to Steven Jackson. Robinson says Eric Mangini will be fired and Spags will not be. Robinson thinks Steven Jackson will be voted into the Pro Bowl without a doubt and he's a top 5 running back behind Adrian Peterson and Chris Johnson. Robinson believes different players and coaches all around the NFL have tremendous respect for Steven Jackson and if you put him behind a different offensive line, he'd be the premiere back in the NFL. Robinson says the Rams should only take a quarterback in next year's draft if they think there is one that is an immediate difference-maker. Click below to hear the entire interview.

9:44a-- Burwell says Scott Linehan was one of the worst leaders he has ever seen and the biggest mistake was giving Linehan the benefit of the doubt and letting him stick around. One texter thinks Coach Spags has been out-coached all season, Burwell and McCrite disagree and Burwell even thinks Spags out-coached Sean Payton last Sunday.

10:03a-- Where will Matt Holliday end up next season? Anaheim? New York? St. Louis? Jon Paul Morosi of CBS Sports says Holliday will be playing in the American League next year without a doubt. Burwell doesn't agree, since the Angels have publicly said they aren't interested in him and the Yankees may be bringing Damon and Matsui back. McCrite says that if Joel Pineiro signs elsewhere, that may increase the chances of Holliday coming back. Scott Boras says the relationship between Holliday and Mark McGwire won't impact his re-signing, because Big Mac was the reason for Holliday's hitting problems at the beginning of last season. Burwell says no one really knows if there is a legitimate marketplace for Holliday or if Boras is just creating one.

10:24a-- ESPN's Joe Lunardi joined the guys to talk some NCAA basketball. Lunardi says that losses for ranked teams in November don't really factor in when it comes to Selection Sunday in March. Lunardi says Illinois will be in the tournament come March, but Mizzou may not be after losing some key players and could be a bubble team. Lunardi thinks the Billikens are really far away from being a legitimate team and they continue to be a transitional team. Lunardi believes Dayton and Xavier are going to be around in March, along with Temple. Lunardi believes Kansas is a very good team, but he doesn't know if they can win the tournament this year against a very competitive field. Click below to hear the entire interview.

10:44a-- What will it take for an undefeated Cincinnati, Boise State or TCU to make the Title Game? Burwell says that as long as two out of the three top teams (Florida, Texas, Alabama) remain undefeated, then none of these teams have a shot at the title game. Burwell says the BCS system will never change, even if there is major upheaval again this year. Burwell thinks TCU needs divine intervention if it hopes to make the title game, but he would love to see it and would love to find out if they are capable of beating a team like Florida or Texas. Burwell roots for chaos in the BCS every year in hopes that it will change, but it hasn't happened yet. Burwell wants the three top ranked teams to lose a game and still make the title game over an unbeaten team, because that will cause the most chaos. Burwell believes Alabama will win the National Championship this year.
