"The Fast Lane" show in review from 11/19/09.

2:02pm - Take Three got things going with Randy upset that a Cardinals pitcher did not win the NL Cy Young while Rammer was excited about the Billikens win over Nebraska last night and D'Marco wondered if the NFL would be safer without helmets.

2:22pm - The trio tried to figure out if wins mean anything anymore when voting for the Cy Young Award.

2:42pm - 101 ESPN Cardinals Insider Joe Strauss joined us and stated he was surprised that Adam Wainwright didn't grab the NL Cy Young.

3:02pm - Take It or Leave It.

3:22pm - The gang debated an article in the New York Times that revealed the possibility of the NFL getting rid of helmets.

3:42pm - The guys discussed whether or not KU head football coach Mark Mangino went over the line in his treatment of players.

4:02pm - Randy, Rammer and D'Marco once again hit on the news that no Cardinals hurler won the NL Cy Young.

4:22pm - Cardinals QB Kurt Warner stopped by and was not sure when he will retire.

4:42pm - Ice Report w/TPC.

5:02pm - I'm Just Sayin'.

5:22pm - ESPN baseball writer Keith Law dropped by and defended his NL Cy Young ballot.

5:42pm - Parting Shots.

  • Keith Law is a tool...

    His defense of his voting makes absolutely no sense at all and is totally full of holes.

    He claims that the Cardinals have a superior defense to the Braves and Giants and this somehow makes Waino and Carp lesser pitches, but if you check the stats it simply isn't true.

    The Giants had 88 team errors and the Braves and Cards each had 96, while all three teams had the exact same fielding percentage of .985.
