Stully is Burwell's Company today!

9:02a -- Burwell is angry, confused, baffled, he just doesn't get it.  How in the world can Tim Lincecum win the Cy Young Award??  Stully says it's the system's fault that this happened.  He doesn't believe that it should be all writers voting.  Burwell says the issue is with guys like Keith Law, Burwell would love to just yell at him.  Burwell doesn't understand how can this be a three-man race the entire time, and then out of nowhere Keith Law puts someone like Javier Vazquez in the picture.

9:25a -- Former catcher/manager Buck Martinez joined the show.  He was also a little confused that Lincecum won and he would have voted for Carpenter.  Buck worked with Keith Law in Toronto and he feels Law doesn't have a proper grip on anything.  It's all about winning and losing for Martinez.  You have to figure in all the intangibles win voting for the Cy Young, not just twisting and turning the numbers the way you want them.  He thinks that more broadcasters should be allowed to vote, guys that see more games.  Above everything, Buck says this isn't a knock on Lincecum, but on the system.  Click below to hear the entire interview:

10:02a -- Big Red legend Mel Gray joined the show.  The guys talked about some of the differences between the NFL then and now.  Mel feels that he would have caught a lot more passes in today's NFL than when he played.  Burwell (the Redskins fan) tried to get Mel to admit that the "Phantom Catch" wasn't really a catch, but Mel still 100% believes that it was a catch.  Mel also talked about watching some Mizzou football this season and that he has been really impressed except for when they played Texas.  Click below to hear the rest of the interview:

10:42a -- Guys talk about Tim Lincecum winning the Cy Young. Stully is upset with the Cy Young voting system, not necessarily the winner. Stully thinks they need to get rid of the slotting system and vote for one guy.
