Fordham routs Georgetown 41-14

WASHINGTON (The Associated Press) -

John Skelton threw five touchdowns to lead Fordham to a 41-14 win over Georgetown in the season finale for both teams on Saturday.

Skelton threw 23-for-32 for 405 yards for the Rams (5-6, 2-4 Patriot League). Darryl Whiting added 172 yards rushing with a touchdown.

Skelton started the scoring early for the Rams, after a 43-yard touchdown pass to David Moore made the score 7-0 with 13:48 remaining in the first quarter. Whiting later scored on a 2-yard run in the first half.

Skelton also threw touchdown passes of 1 and 62 yards to Stephen Skelton and Caldwell. He later reconnected with Moore on a 22-yard touchdown pass with only 6 seconds remaining in the second quarter to give Fordham a 34-0 halftime lead.

The Hoyas (0-11, 0-6) were led by quarterback Isaiah Kempf, who threw 14-for-26 for 170 yards and one touchdown.
