It's game day for the Billikens and who would have figured just a month ago that this would be a huge game for both St. Louis U. and Rhode Island.  While the Rams are a mild suprise in the Atlantic 10 the upstart Billikens are a shock to the rest of the league.

Since SLU knocked off Dayton in double overtime Saturday, their four in a row streak has vaulted them smack into league race.  In fact, the Billikens are one game ahead of the Rams on the loss side.  URI has dropped two in a row to give them four league losses but, all four have come against the A-10 powers, Temple twice, Richmond and Xavier.

Needless to say, Jim Baron's squad will be angry and focussed.

For SLU one of the best three point defensive teams in the nation...how will they handle properity?  Winners of four in a row the Bills will face a team that doesn't rely on three but knows how to get to the basket.

This game will be huge for either team that wins.  A loss would be crushing to Rhode Island and while it would slow the roll of SLU, it would not be a season breaker.
