The Blues are back home after winning two-of-three in the first half of their current six-game road trip. The Note next faces the Islanders in New York on Thursday night.
This morning Davis Payne's team skated at The Mills in Hazelwood with forward Keith Tkachuk, according to Jeremy Rutherford of the Post Dispatch. The veteran assistant captain skated after missing time since undergoing finger surgery back in February. Tkachuk has 12 goals and 16 assists in 55 games while totaling 46 minutes in penalties.
Following Thursday's match up with the Isles, the Blues will play games on back-to-back nights visiting Columbus on Saturday and Minnesota on Sunday.
The Note is currently five points back of Detroit for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference. Should Dallas win at Washington tonight (big "if" considering the Capitals have won 13-straight at home) the Blues would slip to 11th in the standings.
