More March Madness notes...

My final matchup is a dyslexia sufferers nightmare.  I have KU over UK.  Nothing out of the ordinary or very different but to me it seems that these two teams are the class of the field.  It's hard to imagine any team outside of a three seed winning the crown.  So what's that, 12 teams?  And that's probably high.  Jay Bilas is right.  We're wringing our hands on who didn't get in when those squads don't have a prayer of getting to the sweet 16...much less winning the championship.  And isn't that what this whole dealis supposed to be about?

Anyway,  here are a couple of upset specials...San Diego State over Tennessee.  I'm not real convinced about that one...but it could happen.  I think Butler will beat UTEP but, if you're really looking for an upset take a shot here.  I also like Siena as a possible winner over Purdue and St. Mary's has a shot against Richmond, though they'll have top play even better than they did in whipping Gonzaga in the West Championship.

Some of my favorite long shot include. Temple over Wisconsin and maybe giving Kentucky a good run...Villanova makes it to the South final...Xavier gets to the West final and Washington wins two and the goodness of Lorenzo Romar destroys the evil incarnate...Bob Huggins....

Illinois didn't get in...can't lose those games at home.

SLU missed the NIT...harder to figure but a slow start to the season and an embarrassing loss to Rhode Island did the Billikids in.  The CBI feels like a let down but, this young team needs to play and you hopefully get to practice another couple of weeks.  Every little bit helps.

Missouri beats Clemson but the aforementioned ogre, Huggins will probably do them in during round two.
