The Blues will play a game on home ice, Tuesday night, for the first time since February 13. The Note swept a homestand (including tests against Detroit, Toronto and Washington) right before the two-week Olympic break and two-week stretch of games away from Scottrade Center.
Davis Payne's team entertains Colorado in the fourth-and-final head-to-head matchup. The Avalanche have won the first three by a combined score of 16-5. The Blues fell in Denver, 7-3, on March 6th in the third game back from the break.
The Note will enter the test either six or seven points back of the eighth and final playoff spot in the West depending on who wins tonight between the Red Wings and Flames in Calgary. Eight of the Blues final 14 regular season games will be at home. Is this good or bad? The Note has been so good on the road, but had lost three-straight on home ice before winning their last three downtown.
