Mizzou Hopes for Late-Season Boost With Michael Porter Jr.’s Return

Well, this should help Mizzou men’s hoops down the stretch.

Michael Porter Jr. has been cleared for all basketball activities just 93 days since having spinal surgery per CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein:

This is big news for the Tigers as they enter the season’s final phase, which includes what will be a highly competitive SEC Tournament at Scottrade Center and what they hope will be an NCAA Tournament appearance.

It also means Porter Jr.’s Mizzou tenure will expand past the two minutes of court-time the freshman saw Nov. 11 at Iowa State before taking himself out for what he then thought was a hip injury.
