MLBPA Rejects MLB Proposal, Manfred Likely to Implement Schedule

Well baseball, thank you for giving a resolution to all of this…maybe?

Today the Players Union executive board rejected the MLB’s latest offer for 60-games with expanded playoffs.

That rejection, sources say, puts commissioner Rob Manfred in position to implement a schedule that could be between 50-60 games.

What this does for the players is keep them in position to grieve the terms of the agreement from Spring Training between two sides.

It looks like we could see baseball in the near future, just with a lot of “unknowns” still set to come our way. Just with a soap opera plot ready to be exposed. Buckle up baseball fans.
