Bandana’s Bar-B-Q introduced me to this really cool smart phone app called Foursquare. On Foursquare you can check-in at different places and share with your friends where you are. Foursquare also allows businesses to give specials to customers when they check-in. The people at Bandana’s Bar-B-Q decided to award their customers with some great specials. When you check- in to Bandana’s Bar-B-Q for the first time you will unlock a special for a free Bandana’s Bar-B-Q bandana. So far they have had 1700 “newbies” unlock this special. If you really love delicious BBQ you can become Mayor of Bandana’s Bar-B-Q, which happens when you check-in at Bandana’s more times than anyone else! If you earn the coveted title of Mayor you earn a free Bandana’s Bar-B-QT-shirt.
