In honor of Mr. King…..

Upon the retirement of Larry King, an homage…

Dreaming of a White Christmas in St. Louis…I really want the Rams to win their last two, and think they’ll beat San Francisco. But I don’t think they’re ready to go into a hostile environment like Seattle and win a high stakes game. They can prove a lot to me if they do…the best time to shop for Christmas is in the last week before, after 9:30 at night…

The Cardinals have built a pitch-to-contact pitching staff, but a less than stellar defensive club. Does that make sense to you?…Best X-Mas special, The Grinch Who Stole Christmas. Best movie? Die Hard…I hear and read a lot about trying to get the NBA’s Hornets from New Orleans. Aren’t we closer to a two team city than a four team city? OLB Von Miller of Texas A&M will be interesting to watch in the Cotton Bowl…

I have a lot of caps, but the latest rotation includes 2010 Rams draft, 2009 Rams draft, Reece’s (peanut butter cup), white Blues from last year, and Callaway golf. Come baseball season, I weave in BP caps from the Cardinals and Yankees…those Hyundai TV commercials sure are catchy…had a great time at Friendly’s 25th anniversary celebration. What a great sports establishment…

I used to be a perennial Fantasy Football playoff team. Now, I suck, having missed the playoffs three years straight…I don’t know that there’s a team in hockey, save Detroit, that could lose its top three forwards like the Blues have and continue winning at a high level. That being said, with all their defensemen now back, they shouldn’t allow nearly as many goals…I guess the folks rooting against LeBron James and the Heat have had a rough go of it lately…

I’ll say this for Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots, they have everything you’re looking for except for defensive experience. Coaching, heart, leadership, offensive talent, and competitiveness. Everything…I’ve missed the Budweiser holiday commercial throughout December. I think I’ve seen it once…the Beef O’Brady’s Bowl? Really?…it will be Brady (Tom, not Beef) or Michael Vick for NFL MVP. Glad I don’t have a vote…

Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year. Hope 2011 is your best yet.
