It’s the most wonderful time of the year.

I’ve always said that this time of year is my absolute favorite. The weather, the sports, the feel…I love it all.

This weekend…a Friday through Monday…encapsulates why I love it so much.

This morning, in 71 degree temperatures, I rode my bike around Creve Coeur Lake. Couldn’t have been better. Comfortable and enjoyable.

Now here I am in the office. I can’t put into words how much I enjoy working with D’Marco and Rammer. We have a great time we have. The four hours of The Fast Lane flies by. We hope you have as much fun with it as we do.

After the show, it’s off to Timberland for High School football on CCIN. The Wolves host St. Charles West. Once again, I have a great time with D.J., and the purity and excitement of High School sports, especially Friday night football games, is an exhilarating experience for any sports fan.

Tomorrow, it’s Cardinal baseball in the daytime, and then Mizzou football at night. (Yes, getting the pay-per-view).

Sunday, it’s our first Rams regular season game on 101 ESPN. Pregame at noon, kickoff at 3:15. I’ll get home in time to turn on the TV, pause the DVR for five seconds, and get the stereo going on 101 ESPN to listen to Steve Savard and D’Marco. After the Rams-Seahawks, Football Night in America on NBC…the best presentation of the NFL anywhere on TV…features Green Bay and Chicago.

Then Monday morning, I’m honored to play in Whitey Herzog’s golf tournament at Forest Hills. Here’s the manager that brought me the first World Series I went to, changed the way the game was played, and treated me so well as a young radio guy. It’s pretty cool to be invited to that one.

After golf, it’s back here to break down the Rams and the Seahawks.

Honestly, I don’t think it can get any better.
