
Tanner Farmer from Concordia University is 101 ESPN’s ’Senior Spotlight’ today!
Tanner attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for five years and was a member of the football program
Tanner earned a degree in nutrition exercise and health sciences
Tanner started for the Cornhuskers on the offensive line during the 2016 through 2018 seasons
Tanner then transferred to Concordia where he competed on the wrestling team
Tanner prepped at Highland High School in Illinois
Tanner was coached by Terry Ohren in wrestling
Tanner lettered all four years and served as a team captain for one
Tanner as a wrestler, won four conference championships and two state titles
Tanner also competed in football and track and field all four years and garnered first team all-state and first team all-conference accolades in football
Tanner was born in Maryville, IL, on March 1, 1996 and is the son of Brian and Connie Farmer. He has three older siblings: Josh, Laura and Haire
